Plane crashes in Lagos(Conveying 20 passengers & corpse of Late Ondo State Gov.Agagu)


It is confirmed that the plane crash announced this morning was an Akure bound aircraft belonging to Associated Airline.
The chattered flight had passengers who were billed to attend the funeral of Ondo State’s former Governor, Dr Olusegun Agagu. The passengers included the former Governor’s family members. There are reports that Deji, son of Chief Olu Falae, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation was also on the plane which was believed to be carrying the remains of the late former Governor.



Tunji Okusanya, the CEO of MIC Caskets was also said to be on the flight.
About 20 passengers were on board the aircraft which had already gone about 200 feet off the ground before it came crashing within the local wing of the airport. The injured has been taken to the Hospital.
