A Call For The Resignation Of Aviation Minister Is Not Only Stupid, But Wicked- AGN President

I am Angry, outraged, pained. I will now be verbal and outspoken. I will continue to pray because HE is all I have. My God, but HE has given me the strength and Grace to make a change. I won't stay mute, and watch my country grieve again!
We, as a nation, must commiserate with families of the victims of the latest air mishap in Lagos. Our sincere condolences must go to them.
This is not the time for irritating and annoying political talks. It is sad that when such unfortunate incidents occur, some people only try to see how they could make political gains out of such unfortunate situations.
The call for the resignation of the Minister of Aviation in some quarters is very annoying, irritating, stupid and, an advertisement of, not only, the ignorance of the callers but also their level of insensitivity and wickedness! In as much as government has a duty to ensure that we have safe skies, it is not every accident that should be blamed on the government. The Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, is the best Aviation Minister ever to handle that ministry since our independence. It is, in fact, a monumental disservice to decency to be comparing her distinctive strides and achievements to those of her predecessors because those ones never performed.

Former Plateau Governor, Chief Solomon Lar, is dead.
His death, according to the News Agency of Nigeria was confirmed by the state governor, Jonah Jang.
He reportedly died in a United States hospital on Wednesday.He was aged 80.
The pioneer national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party had been battling an undisclosed ailment for some months before he was flown to U.S for treatment.

Fani-Kayode should hang his head in shame
The Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, on Tuesday hit back at Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, describing him as an ignorant individual, who “should hide his head in shame.”
Fani-Kayode, a former minister of Aviation, had criticised the Peoples Democratic Party for expressing confidence in Oduah despite the air crashes that had happened during her tenure as minister.
“How many more people have to be killed in air crashes before our President (Dr. Goodluck Jonathan) realises that he needs a new Minister of Aviation?” Fani-Kayode had asked.
But Oduah said in Abuja that Fani-Kayode was misleading innocent Nigerians and needed sympathy.
She spoke at an aviation safety event organised by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation and hosted by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency.
Oduah said, “I have huge sympathy for them, the ignorant people in particular. Because when you speak out of context, when you speak under the influence of whatever it is you are under, you speak incorrectly and you mislead innocent Nigerians and that is what he has done. And he really should hide his head in shame.”

A 53 seconds video clip in the possession of News Express shows the paramount ruler of the foremost commercial town berating Ngige, the APC governorship candidate for the November 16 Anambra State governorship election, and his party for allegedly having no regard for the traditional instituition.

Federal Government suspends Dana Air license
The NCAA said it shut Dana’s operations to enable it conduct an operational audit of the carrier and its planes. This suspension makes it the third time the NCAA would ground Dana Air over safety and other related issues since the crash of Dana flight 992 that killed over 150 passengers in June 2012.

I walked into his office to invite him 2 Season2 of our show in 2010. We had never met but he hugged me.
He told me how he loved our show and how I would go far up the ladder of Success. I discovered that he liked to laugh a lot.
On the day of recording, he came to time and when we were done, he shared money around like a politician going to the polls. And so we would become 'friends'. More like Egbon (elder sibling) and aburo (younger sibling).
When my father died 2years later and we reeled in pain and confusion, his boys were there in 30mins with MIC's best hearse. Without a mention of money, they took my dad to the best morgue around and immediately started making plans for the burial.

How Agagu’s in-law jumped out of burning plane
According to Tribune Newspaper
An eyewitness who works at the Murtala International Airport has revealed that two of the survivors of the Thursday plane crash in Lagos escaped death by jumping out of the plane minutes before it went up in flames.
Pleading for anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the incident, the middle age man, who works for Sahara Energy, said he was close by when the accident occurred.
He disclosed that he saw the plane tilt towards one side while in the air before it came down with a loud noise. (Sahara Energy where the eyewitness works is close to the site of the crash).
“The company I work for is very close to the site of the crash. I saw the plane tilt towards one side and I perceived the pilot was trying to avoid landing in a depot full of fuel close by. I think this was a great and timely decision because if the plane had landed on the depot the ensuing disaster would definitely be more than what we saw.
