Hon Lawan Farouk, as He Heads to Kuje Prison.

Photo: WHY Hon. Farouk Lawan?
**Corruption is Crime against Humanity, we must all join hands to fight this Monster.

This Morning Hope For Nigeria reporter at the Abuja High Court watched how the Nigerian security men matched the visibly shocked Hon Lawan Farouk to His New Home in Kuje Prison.

Mr Intergrity and Mr Emenalo will be staying in this Prison facility till 8th of February, 2013.

The question in the lips of most Nigerians has been, why only Farouk?

This question was technically answered in the court this morning in many ways.

1] Farouk was reminded that "he was part of the lawmakers that made the ICPC Act of 2000, they made this law and violated it".
2] The 6th count which borders on being "offered gratification and not reporting to Nigerian Police or ICPC officials.

A similar event happened when Ribadu was the head of EFCC, he was offered bribe by the jailed Delta state governor, Mr Ibori. Ribadu reported the matter to the law enforcement agencies and deposited the money with Nigerian Central Bank and collected a receipt.

Hon Lawan Farouk and Emenalo were alleged to have solicited for Bribe. Otedula reported them to the law enforcement Agencies and he was 'advised' to play along. Honorable Lawan Farouk Never reported to the Police, but spent the said bribe and has been unable to produce the marked dollars for nearly a year now.

This is the reason why you make not see Mr Otedola standing side-by-side with Mr 'Intergrity' in the Court.

Stop asking questions that are diversionary and makes now no sense. Nigeria must move forward, even if we start with Farouk and Emenalo, it is not a bad start at all.

The ball is now in the Court of Nigerians to pressure the National Assembly, as a matter of urgency to formulate stringent laws to Make Corruption look like a plague. They should classify the punishment into 3:- a} Short term imprisonment of not less than 15 years. b} the life Imprisonment and c} the Death Penalty.

This is not about Farouk or Emenalo, it is about saving the lives and future of Nigerian generations to come. Corruption is Crime against Humanity, we must all join hands to fight this Monster.

Hon Farouk's Team submits a Bail application.
Supporting argument: Farouk should be bailed for personal recognition. He has been a member of the National assembly since 1999 and also a Member of ECOWAS parliament.
**Bail Bond requested....please let it not be like the case of fourth night ago..
