The embattled Police Commissioner for Rivers State, Mbu Joseph Mbu has been redeployed to head the Federal Capital Territory Police Command by the Police Service Commission.
In a statement made available to The Trent, Thursday, February 6, 2014, signed by Mr. Ferdinand Ekpe, the redeployment takes immediate effect.
Mbu is replaced by Johnson Tunde Ogunsakin who was in-charge of the Special Fraud Investigation Unit of the Police in Lagos.
Twelve other Commissioners of Police have been redeployed along with Mbu.
