CNN to end Piers Morgan's show

According to USATODAY.COM
It's the end of the road for Piers Morgan's CNN show, the cable news network confirmed Sunday.
Piers Morgan Live, which earned low ratings, could end as early as next month, though the former British tabloid editor may stay with the network in another role.
The date and time for the final episode of Morgan's show have not yet been determined, CNN said in a statement.Morgan replaced Larry King in the network's coveted 9 p.m. slot three years ago.

"It's been a painful period and lately we have taken a bath in the ratings," Morgan told the New York Times. "Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it. ...That's run its course and (CNN President ) Jeff (Zucker) and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me."
Morgan is a former U.K. tabloid editor who reinvented himself as a TV personality with stints as a judge on "Britain's Got Talent" and its U.S. spinoff, NBC's America's Got Talent, and as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice.
He hosted BBC's You Can't Fire MeI'm Famous, and did interview shows and documentaries for ITV.
Morgan was interviewed late last year by London police in connection with an investigation into phone hacking at a newspaper where he had worked, but has not been charged.
