A Qatar Airways plane, Flight QR592 which had notified the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) of a need for an emergency landing due to faulty landing gear has landed safely at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos on Satruday.
The Director General of NCAA, Harold Demuren acknowledging the emergency call, assured of the authority's readiness to handle any eventualities that may arise from the forced landing.
The authority had stationed firefighting equipment at the airport
However, emergency officials said that the plane landed safely and there was no injury to any of the passengers or crew onboard.
Thank GOD is not another weekend of tragedy.
