Ghanian rapper Michael Owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie has featured in the 2012 edition of the acclaimed BET Awards Cypher.
Sarkodie’s is profiled alongside 42 US based rappers including top gun MCs like Snoop Dogg (Lion), DMX, T.I, and Talib Kweli. Others include Eve, Xzibit, E40 and Wu-tang veteran RZA. Sarkodie is the only African act that makes the list.
The cypher was aired at the BET Hiphop Awards show which took place on Saturday night September 29, 2012 in Atlanta. Sarkodie featured in the cypher hosted by DJ Premiere.
